On the morning of May 20, the 2018 Annual Meeting and the Second Session of the 7th Council of the Haian County Construction Industry Association were held at the headquarters building of Jiangsu Xintuo Group (Joint-Stock) Co., Ltd. Attending the meeting were Jia Bogeng, Director of the County Construction Management Bureau; Chu Xiangwen and Xu Peihong, Deputy Directors; Tong Yonghua, President of the Haian County Construction Industry Association; and all representatives of the association’s members. The meeting was chaired by President Tong Yonghua. The assembly reviewed and approved the 2017 Work Report submitted by Zang Zhenghua, Vice President and Secretary-General of the association as well as Chairman of Nantong Suzhong Construction Co., Ltd., and the 2017 Financial Report submitted by Wang Weiguo, the association’s Supervisor. The assembly also reviewed and approved the “Financial Management System.”

The conference reviewed and approved the 2017 Work Report submitted by Zang Zhenghua, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Association as well as Chairman of Nantong Suzhong Construction Co., Ltd., and the 2017 Financial Work Report submitted by Wang Weiguo, Supervisor of the Association. It also reviewed and approved the “Financial Management System” and the “Proposal on Admitting New Members.” President Tong Yonghua conveyed the key spirit of the annual meetings of the provincial and municipal construction industry associations. Tao Changyin, Honorary President of the Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huajian Construction Group, reported on the inclusion of enterprises from Haian in the “Top 100” and “Top 30” lists for Jiangsu Province’s construction industry, as well as the “Three Excellent” evaluations for construction enterprises in Nantong City. Han Liangrong, Chairman of Jiangsu Xintuo Group, briefed the attendees on the construction progress of the Xintuo Group headquarters building and shared the company’s experience in corporate development. Jia Bogeng, Director of the County Construction Administration Bureau, delivered an important speech. He fully affirmed the Association’s work and put forward clear requirements for accelerating the transformation and upgrading of our county’s construction industry in seven areas, including intensifying market development efforts, piloting general contracting projects, and enhancing production safety.
Finally, Director Gu Zengping, Senior Partner and Senior Attorney at Shanghai Jianwei (Nanjing) Law Firm, delivered a special lecture titled “Interpretation of the 2017 Edition of Construction Contracts and Engineering General Contracting Management Measures.” In his lecture, he provided an in-depth analysis of the potential legal risks that construction enterprises may face in construction contracts and engineering general contracting. Attendees from construction companies all expressed that they had greatly benefited from the lecture. After the lecture, the participants visited the headquarters office area and the corporate exhibition center of Xintuo Group.
